⚔️ Bordeaux Fencing Training Camp – December 2025

Introduction

FENCING IMPACT is organizing an épée fencing camp from 19 to 24 December 2025 in the prestigious Bordeaux Étudiant Club fencing hall.

The camp is open to fencers from all clubs, including international participants, in the categories U14, U17, U20 and U23.

It will be led by:

  • Maître Jean-Marc Cagnet (Geneva)

  • Maître Silvio Fernandez (Bern)

  • Maître Khashy Saleki (Vevey-Montreux)
    together with bilingual instructors certified by Jeunesse+Sport.

Fees and services

💰 Cost: 850 CHF (with round-trip transport from Geneva)
💰 Cost: 650 CHF (without transport)

The price includes:

  • Premium youth hostel accommodation

  • Meals and snacks

  • All training sessions (collective and individual lessons)

  • Physical preparation

  • Full access to training facilities

Objectives

  • Maintain or improve participants’ general physical condition

  • Prepare for the 2026 season

  • Encourage teamwork and community life

  • Promote the exchange of ideas and experiences

Registration

Registrations will be confirmed according to the order of payment received with the individual registration form.

  1. Fill out the online registration form (see below) and wait for the confirmation e-mail
    (or send the completed paper form with all personal details to the address below).

Cancellation

  • Cancellation before 30 November 2025: 100% refund

  • Cancellation after 30 November 2025: no refund

Practical information

  • Departure: Friday 19 December at 08:00 (Geneva airport – coach parking at Arrivals)

  • Return: Wednesday 24 December around 19:00

  • Required: full épée fencing gear + sportswear

Equipment list

  • Complete fencing gear with 2 épée weapons and 2 body wires minimum

  • Full fencing uniform according to Swiss Fencing safety standards (jacket, trousers, plastron, mask, glove, lame jacket)

  • Repair tools (screwdrivers, keys, etc.)

  • Fencing shoes for the hall

  • Running shoes

  • Enough t-shirts and socks (2 trainings/day)

  • 2 towels (1 for fencing hall, 1 for accommodation)

  • Small backpack

  • Jump rope

  • Personal toiletries

  • Water bottle and/or sports drink

  • Tracksuit / training clothes

  • Shorts
